The JAY GS wheelchair cushion incorporates a highly durable, stable foam base and JAY's proven fluid insert technology with the unique ability to grow with the client (whilst maintaining the proper support). An excellent seating solution for growing children and adolescents.
Contoured Foam Base with Built-In Growth and Easy Modifications
The GS features a contoured, closed cell foam base that is easy to modify in our factory or in the field. Multiple Pelvic Loading Area inserts are attached by Velcro and can be removed one by one as the client grows. An extensive selection of positioning components are available to provide exceptional lateral and forward stability over time as needs and unique postures change.
JAY Flow Fluid
The GS features the JAY Flow fluid, which conforms to each individual's shape, adjusts to sitting positions, and ensures proper fluid placement beneath bony prominences to help protect the skin from breakdown. Its oversized design accommodates the foam base as it adapts with the client.
AirExchange™ or Moisture-Resistant Cover Options
The GS may be ordered with either an AirExchange or Moisture-Resistant cover. The AirExchange cover promotes airflow and dissipates heat and moisture to keep the client clean and dry. The moisture-resistant cover helps with incontinence management by protecting the foam base from moisture build-up.
