The JAY Swing-away Lateral Thoracic Support was designed to complement our JAY J3 wheelchair backs, providing optimal trunk support and stability for the user. It offers a large range of positioning options and a variety of lateral pad sizes to accommodate a broad range of needs. An easy-to-use push-button lever allows the lateral to swing out of the way for easy transfers.
Versatile positioning
The JAY Swing-away Lateral's slim profile allows it to be mounted either internally or externally on the shell to create a personalized fit. It's available with a variety of lateral pad sizes and longer slots on the pad brackets for flexibility in pad placement.
Improved positioning & locking strength
A two pivot point design with interlocking teeth allows for 100mm (3.9") of adjustment and improved locking strength. This helps to keep the lateral positioned where it's needed to help improve stability, posture, and balance.
Upholstery options
The XD Spacer fabric textile has exceptional moisture absorption properties for maximum comfort. It promotes air circulation to limit sweating and allows the unimpeded passage of fluids. Comes standard with a 3DX cover and pad
