BeMe Basic (Active) is an innovative solution, designed for active users, who perform standing transfers but still require tailored postural support for everyday activities.
Featuring a growable ramped seat cushion and a supportive back - both incorporating our patent pending, easily adjustable accordion foam - BeMe Basic offers 5" (12cm) of growth, ensuring continuous support without any gaps or the need for additional hardware inserts.

Growable Ramped Cushion and Backrest
Good posture starts with a stable trunk and pelvis and that’s why BeMe Basic features a growable ramped seat cushion which follows the shape of the thighs to keep the pelvis in neutral alignment and prevent forward sliding.
This is coupled with a growable back support with lateral flanges to promote an upright, midline posture. Accordion foam and 4-way stretch fabric ensure support is provided from pelvis to shoulder throughout the lifetime of the seat.
Supports Standing Transfers
BeMe Basic is specifically designed to aid standing transfers, encouraging children to remain strong, active and independent for longer.
To assist with standing transfers, BeMe Basic features an ultra low seat to floor height of 26cm, and includes a lockable, flip-up footplate; height, depth and angle-adjustable arm supports, 15° forward tilt base and quick-release accessories such as tray and pommel.

Every child is unique — and often, so is their seat. Tailoring the BeMe Basic is a breeze thanks to our interchangeable parts and accessories. It's frequently supplemented with swing-away slimline laterals, a high-contrast tray, and an adjustable headrest.

True Growth
Growing up is what childhood is all about, but keeping pace with the changing needs can be a challenge. That’s why we have sourced patent pending accordion foams and 4-way stretch fabric for the cushions and back supports on all BeMe seats, allowing a massive 5” (12cm) of growth across the range. This innovative set-up provides comfort and pressure relief, without any gaps in support and no need for extra inserts, like pommels or hip guides.
Easy set-up
We know appointment time is precious, that's why BeMe is designed to accommodate quick and intuitive adjustments for both setup and continual growth.
Everyday adjustments, such as seat depth, back height and lower leg length can be made completely tool-free, whilst the child is in the seat. Frequently made adjustments, such as the pommel, tray, lap strap and armrests, are colour coded for ease.

BeMe is the ideal match for the Leckey range of multi-height and tilt bases which enable children to access their whole environment at home, school and throughout the day. These bases are available in indoor manual, indoor electric, indoor-outdoor manual and indoor-outdoor electric specifications
Manual
BeMe is also the ideal partner for the Zippie iris manual wheelchair, with its patented rotation in space technology for smooth and controlled tilting of the seat frame around the child’s centre of gravity, ensuring the shortest possible wheelbase without compromising stability.
Power
The Q300 M Base is a compact mid-wheel drive power base. It offers 14” drive wheels, ensuring that whether in small, tight indoor spaces, or navigating off path, the child is safe, stable and in control at all times.

Pommel
Featuring soft foam and a smooth cover for enhanced child comfort, the pommel is designed for children who have strong adductor tone. It is available in three sizes to provide the right fit and support for each child.
Tray
The tray provides upper limb support, helping with active trunk control and facilitating tabletop activities such as play and feeding. It comes in black as standard, offering visual contrast with items placed on the tray. Now available with padded cover option.
Headrest
A curved, single pad headrest, which provides posterior support with a high degree of comfort and safety. This basic headrest is ideal for tilt or recline, accepts additional lateral and anterior supports, and is easily adjustable to adapt with as a child's needs change.
Sandals
Three sizes of sandals provide precise foot positioning on the footplate, providing stability to the lower limbs and preventing feet from slipping off the footplate. Booties and ankle huggers also available.
Slimline laterals
With the flip-away mount being the standard option for the Moderate and Advanced seat, these slimline laterals are designed for a compact finish, maximising the child’s ability to function and move without restriction. Available in three sizes, they are adjustable in height, depth and angle allowing for precision trunk positioning and support. Available as rigid or flipaway.
